by using the site, you agree to these terms. if you do not agree, do not use the site.

the site publishes questions and allows people to submit short answers associated with a selected city.
responses may be displayed, grouped, counted, analysed and summarised.
results reflect answers submitted by participants. they are not representative polling and should not be treated as statistically representative of a city, country or population unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. submissions
you are responsible for content you submit.
do not submit content that:
- is unlawful;
- infringes another person’s rights;
- contains another person’s private or personal information;
- threatens, harasses or targets another person;
- contains malicious or automated spam; or
- interferes with or abuses the site or its systems.
msg earth may reject, remove, moderate, group or reclassify submissions.
5. licence to submissions
you retain any rights you may have in an answer you submit.
by submitting an answer, you grant msg earth a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, display, publish, adapt, group, analyse, distribute and otherwise use that answer in connection with msg earth.
this includes use in live and historical results, social media, editorial material, reports, research, promotion and commercial products or services.
msg earth may also create, use, publish, share and license aggregated or de-identified data and insights derived from submissions.
6. availability and changes
msg earth may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
the availability of the site, any question, submission or historical result is not guaranteed.
7. warranties
the site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
to the extent permitted by law, msg earth makes no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or accurate.
nothing in these terms excludes any right or guarantee that cannot legally be excluded.
8. liability
to the maximum extent permitted by law, msg earth is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site.
msg earth is not responsible for opinions, statements or other content submitted by users.
9. third-party services
the site relies on third-party services and infrastructure. msg earth is not responsible for their independent operation, availability or policies.
city data is sourced from geonames and licensed under the creative commons attribution 4.0 international licence.
10. governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of new south wales, australia, and applicable australian law.
nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights available under laws that apply to you.
11. changes
these terms may be updated from time to time. the current version will be published on this page.
continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms for future use.
